man, i always think i’ll get sick of it and i dont. in-n-out is the goods dude.

while running around getting some errands done before popeye got in, we spotted this dope lilac jaguar. how pimp is that?? hehe.

also saw my mom’s mad stunt double 5 minutes earlier… made me miss home more.

and then look who flew into SFO!!! POPEYE!!!

took him over to the huge dog park by steiner and hayes.

all these new scents and new grass had him going into sniffing overload. hahaha.

meeting lots of new friends. tons of dogs off leashes just running around having fun. it’s a cool spot.

are those the bodega x reebok pumps?? why yes, yes they are. haha.

anyway, popeye said he never saw SF’s most famous painted ladies, aka the full house houses. so we took him to the spot.

popeye had a long day and flight, so as soon as he got home he laid down quick…

and just knocked out.

so jamie and i threwdown on the “love connection” from san francisco pizza which was Pepperoni, salami, American bacon, mushrooms, red onions, jalapenos, black olives, feta cheese and fresh garlic. pretty good. may try another one from there again.

tried to set out early for some fishing in rio vista. not as early as we wanted but we still got out there.

all this bay area love lately. black scale, primitive, the hundreds and now huf. of course, huf & black scale would do one tho. paying another tribute to the homecourt. anyway, these are gonna be nice for fall. they come in sf giants and oakland a’s colorways, with a nice wool dome and brim, with “SF” big and bold on the front with a tiny huf logo on the back. nice stuff only for bay natives, go get yours at hayes or sutter while they last.

uh oh, this means the rocksmith fall line of fitteds is about to drop. here is the perforated leather fitted in offwhite and black with a subtle hint of gucci-ness going on. i dig it!!! saw these over at amazing store

this here is the “polo helmet” from rocksmith. this is why i fuckin LOVE rocksmith fitteds. dudes are NOT afraid to doing something way out there and on top of that, their designers are dope! black crown, green brim, with red strip that goes diagonally across the top and around the front with some kanji and “R.S.” on the side opposite the flag. fuckin love the shit outta this. solid fuckin work as usual.

yeah yeah, not a fitted and a little to fefe but i dig it. its got my colors son! and i have no idea why but i dig when companies play around with the starter logo. nice snapback-mesh from kiks tyo.

not bad. saw this over at true‘s website. its the “checkerdown” from new era. checkered front and upperbill, patent black alligator underbill and some sorta metal flag(?) on the back. they’re trying and getting a little better. gotta give them that.

not bad…but nothing really special either. only really giving it some love cause its got a hometeam on it. fitted hawaii drops this custom blackhawks fitted with red crown, brown suede bill and a palette of contrasting colors in the logo. im real disappointed in #fittedhawaii’s online exclusives but i understand, you gotta give the goods to the home squad. ah well, sucks for me i guess.

simone is killing it!!! check out all these awesome fitteds! here is the “death burger” for tokidoki. it features a red crown and brim, a white front panel, typical RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME underbrim featuring his signature collage/character work and a logo on the back that resembles something… anyway, super awesome work as expected.

here’s another awesome fitted from tokidoki called the “geo star”. this comes in a dark royal blue crown, purple brim, white front panel with “adios” in a awesome star graphic, cute mad cube graphic in the back and an awesome underbrim design of course but instead of the normal pop-collage stuff its done up in a kinda cubist way. AWESOME. FRICKIN. AWESOME simone‘s fitted designs are getting so much better as time goes on…

here is the “capitano” from tokidoki. this fitted is done up in all white, with white felt “adios-stars” all over, pirate flag graphic in the back and great, great, great underbrim illustration with one of his signature women. in my humble opinion, of the tokidoki hats in this post, this is the weakest but its still a good piece for sure! i just happen to like the other ones a lot more.

i definitely need to get my hands on one of these “adios amigo” fitted. purplish-blue dome, slate blue front panel, lime green brim, adios rockin a fitted and bandana, awesome diamond mini graphic on the back and a simple yet awesome underbrim with “TKDK” screen printed all huge so you can flip your lid like the front graphic tells you too. awesome awesome awesome .

simone puts in mad work, love and detail into his work and it shows with this fedora from new era. not only does he kill it on the hat and band design with subtle tonal designs but he even puts together an awesome character collage on the inside of the hat. unneccessary but totally necessary in the sense that it makes it such a pimp hat. more goods from tokidoki

no, im not a freak that is stalking simone, i swear everytime i see this dude he’s rocking some SICK fitted for a future tokidoki release. seriously, EVERYTIME they’re sick. i want both of these so bad. im gonna steal them off his head next time i see him. hahaha. i GOTTA have that captain america holding the plate of food and the wolverine one is awesome too! these are ridiculous… i hope they get released.

italian crownd rody dropped another fitted. while i do dig the simplicity and cleanliness of it, the lay out of the graphics just seem sparse to me. not horrible but not incredible to me either.

did some more exploring into animal and found some more nice fitteds they’re dropping. here is the “hyphen”. i dig the grey wool, turquoise underbrim and eyelets, the nice san-serif text in turquoise is dope and while im not super into their bird logo its done up simply and clean in white on the back. good stuff

yeah, yeah, houndstooth is played but i still dig it. here’s the, you guessed it, “houndstooth” fitted from animal with an all-over houndstooth pattern, “animal” stitched across the side in a dope san-serif font and if surprisingly the worst part of this fitted to me is the underbrim. too many patterns going on, it just looks too chaotic for me. still ok tho.

now if i was back home, i’d rock the shit outta this. i loved flap ears for chicago winters. that shit was crucial. this is the “flap ya jacks” fitted from animal. black/white buffalo pattern all over, with an animal patch on the front right panel, the bird done up in an oversized screen print on the underbrim and “making moves since ’00″ stitched across the back in gold done up just nice enough to not be overboard. good shit fellas!

this here is called the “purse stitch” from animal. while im not a huge fan of their bird logo, i really dig the oversized white stitching, reminiscent of thick purse stitching on leather bags, that keeps the hat together on a nice black crown and “animal” stitched across the back.

not too common to see a dc fitted posted on my blog but i gotta say this one isnt bad. this is the “track” fitted from dc. it features their logo in front and the button in a nice blood red, with white/red/teal making the stripes that wraps all but the front of the fitted. kinda reminds me of cars whizzing by at fast speeds. i dig this.

see. skate companies are definitely upping their fitted game. zoo york has the “flagship stripe” that i really dig. reminds me of a rugby shirt in a good way. crimson and navy stripes wrap the fitted, navy eyelets and the iconic zoo york “ZY” in the front in navy and outlined in white. very nice work

and last from zoo york in this post is the “old slip”. it has a train conducter look with the seersucker and zoo york script done up in a diagonal seersucker. seems like a good fitted for boating or the hamptons. you snob you.

nice white sox custom from fitted hawaii. all black, old school white sox logo done up in white with red piping on the sides of the front panels. it’d be kinda cool if the piping was only on the front.

i was SO stoked when fitted hawaii announced that their online store was opening soon. it was kind of ridiculous how i sat at the computer constantly refreshing til i could grab what i could. since then, i’ll be honest, i haven’t been feeling it. real dissappointed in their online drops. anyway, here’s a “kam” fitted with the oakland a’s colorway and a teal button. not bad.
