took popeye for a walk around lake merritt and the newly opened the lake chalet was poppin. definitely gonna need to check it out sometime soon.

finally got to get a vietnamese sammich out here from banh mi ba le. the shredded pork was ok and the bbq chicken was really good but the bread was just too damn hard. cut up me and jamie‘s mouths. not good.

i dont know about you, but i BEEN waiting for a new atmos fitted to drop. BEEN. BEEN. they’re always doing their own thing and i dig what they put out. this here is the “bespoke”, one features a black crown, white pinstriping and eyelets, the atmos “A” and spades logo in different colors, “NYC” with the star stiched on the side opposite the new era flag, the atmos logo on the back and a DOPE teal paisley print on the underbrim. the other features a black crown as well but with red pinstriping, eyelets, stitching and paisley underbrim. i REALLY dig this fitted and am hoping i can figure out how to get my hands on one soon. i think its supposed to drop this fall.

heh. who knew i’d dig a fitted with a font that looks like a thicker times new roman. i dig it tho. this here fitted is from SVPRB. all i know, or can tell, from these pics are that the “SPRB” fitteds are gonna drop in grey corduroy/black, black/purple, & teal/white colorways and “superb” is stitched across the back. they’re supposed to be dropping dec/jan-ish and i was told there will be a lot of surprises. looking forward to see what else drops.

some more fitteds from superb. the “unstoppable” fitted is cool but im really into the last logo which i think say “TSL” for the superb label. i like when companies do successful plays on logo like what they did with yves saint laurent‘s logo here. nice. the “unstoppable” fitteds get a 3 while the “TSL” logo gets a 4.

“brooklyn zoo” by fuctard. i definitely dig the way “brooklyn zoo: salad bowl” is laid out in the front, the colorways are nice and simple and the animals on the back are a nice touch. definitely something i’d rock if i was from the BK

vans with some nice work here. simple and clean. this is the “home team” which comes in a variety of colorways. each sport the vans iconic skateboard logo on the front and the also iconic vans logo on the back. the colorways were nicely picked, in the first we have a black crown, aqua brim and button with infared accents. the second has a black crown, grey front panel and white accents, while the last sport a tonal look all around in grey and black. nice work from vans.

another jamaica-reggae centric fitted from onspotz called the “respect/jamaica”. black crown, with “respect” stitched into the front in an old english-esque font in yellow/green and the jamaican flag stitched into the back. word

man, you know i LOVE me some leaders 1354 but im not sure how i feel yet about these. these are the “wishbone L” fitteds and theyre available in khaki/turquoise, gucci colorway, red/black/gold and a loose mariners colorway. i guess im gonna have to decide quick cause they drop this saturday (09.26.09)

some more bay love and this time from the hundreds again. this time theyre back with some more “Hundreds Team” snapbacks in giants and sharks colorways. you… bayarians? bayganites?…whatever, hurry up and get yours while they last

here’s another cool snapback from elm company set to drop with their new cut & sew line. this is called the “strike out” and features a white crown, royal blue pinstripes, teal brim, button, elm company leaf and script outlined in white. this totally reminds me of one of my first ever fitteds. i gotta find that sharks hat again. i know it wasn’t new era…. anyway. this is a nice snapback, too bad its not a fitted.

YESSSS!!! i’ve been anxiously waiting and wondering when reason was gonna drop another fitted and they did! i also wondered if they’d ever turn the “go ♥ your own city” into a fitted and im glad they did! looking like they’re both rock a suede crown in black and grey colorways and according to the description at the reason site they both have monogram satin lining and reptile skin underbrim. AWESOME!

new drop from fitted hawaii, here’s the “big game hunters” and it boasts a brand new design, all black with the boar graphic in dark green and orange on the front. The eyelets are dark green, as well as the FH crown, crest and New Era logo. Orange camouflage satin lining on the inside with subtle hits of our trilocks in black. i dig it and i also dig the possible colorways of the new boar design.

oh shit! preview of diamond supply co‘s drop for summer 2010. so simple yet so so fresh. chenille diamond with outline with a thick white embroidery in some staple colorways. i cant wait to see this and the rest of diamond supply co‘s drop!
