Celebrities, with all their cash & freebies, don’t necessarily have the best style. I’m not calling myself a uber-fashionista by any means but there are certain “celebs” whose fitteds, to me, have always been dope and not had the “mall-bought” and/or “flea-market-bought” look for lack of a better description. In my gut, I feel these “celebs” had a dope fitted game pre-stylist and before the cash started coming in a little more frequently. These are some peoples whose fitted collections I would LOVE to see. Curious to know who they are and why? Find out after the jump. >>

Bun B

Aside from having his own brand, 9Grand, which puts out some great fitteds on their own, Bun B can always be caught rocking some nice fitteds. Anywhere from small streetwear brands to athletic teams, it seems like Bun B always has a nice crisp fitted on.

The Cool Kids

So before these cool guys got big and I’d see them around Chicago, they always had a nice hat on. Fitted, snapback, whatever, their heads would be dressed well. With all the promo/swag/money in their pockets now and posing for brands like Swagger, I’d love to see how their hat collection grew.

Yasumasa Yonehara

“Yone” is another person who, when I see him in pics, is generally wearing a pretty fresh hat. I can’t even imagine what his hat collection would look like since he has so many New Era boxes allover his place. Especially with all the Japanese heaters that he gets, I’m sure a lot of pieces from his collection hasn’t even been seen stateside. Damn. Check out some here >>.

Wale

When you have a hat done up FOR you that’s fresh, that’s always a good sign the dude is into fitteds. Wale seems to have been a big supporter of smaller-big shops like Concepts, Leaders 1354, Huf, etc from the get go. With the record deal and every shop out there probably throwing hats his way, I’d love to see how OC the collection has gotten now.

A-Trak

A-Trak is another dude who got his own New Era fitted done. What sets A-Trak’s fitted apart is that it was a Capture the Flag piece. Same goes for this dude, almost every single appearance this guy does he’s rocking some kind of fitted heat. Who knows what this dude’s arsenal looks like. I totally snoozed on the exact Goods fitted he’s wearing now. Damn it.

DJ Clark Kent

On top of having a ridiculous sneaker collection, DJ Clark Kent is said to have a RIDICULOUS hat collection. 2000+ hats!!! Sure, sure there’s lots of doubles and team fitteds but EVEN IF 50% of his collection is team shit to match his kicks…he still has 1000 non-team fitteds. This dude’s closet o’ hats is another that I’d love to explore. Absolute ridiculousness.

Chris Brown

When Chris Brown isn’t beating up girls, he’s out and about in some dope fitteds. Caught him in a lot of pics rocking Leaders 1354 fitteds actually. Good hat taste at least. He loves them so much he rocks them while doing community service. CB even got his own New Era’s done but they looked like garbage. Maybe that’s why you almost never see him in them. I’d love to see this dude’s closet o’ fitteds and I’m willing to duck swings while looking at the hats.

Travis McCoy

Travis did a Gym Class Heroes fitted that I wasn’t really feeling but to go and do a custom fitted shows the dude likes him some hats. And while googling the dude for a pic to use, dude is almost always rocking a fresh fitted. Fucker is even rockin one of my grails in this pic, hahaha.

Well that pretty much sums up my list. Maybe we can actually get at one or some of these dudes to show off their collection and do a mini-interview. Probably not but who knows. Enjoy and let me know any other “celebrity” fitted collections you’d like to see.
