so i emailed simone the other day about some hats he just released. i couldnt find my size on the site. then i got a package from on wednesday from tokidoki…

what an awesome dude. if you havent met simone, he’s one of the nicest and most humblest dudes ever. oh and if you dont know, he’s a ridiculously good artist. anyway, in the box were the two hats i was asking about, a couple zipper pulls and tons of stickers and buttons! thank you sir. a package will soon come back your way…

so i was supposed to drop off my last painting last night at 1:AM gallery but couldnt because of this. damn safeway

instead, we got off the highway and got some pho at the emeryville public market. it was pretty damn good.

had our first pandora concert in the new space. the show featured glen tillbrook of squeeze fame (know for their song “tempted”).

so nate, tyo and i were heading into SF together. nate took a picture of us cause we dressed semi-alike again and looked like “cool guys.” so i took the pic a step further and played the album game with our photo… here’s the outcome… our group name is “César Quintero” and our album name is… “time, you are incomparable.”

met up jamie in SF cause she was running errands. did do anything crazy, just hit up the kinokuniya bookstore in japantown and then got some grub at isobune (sushi boats).

new “bear mop” colorway from mishka. digging this. reminds me of the flying coffin x fitted hawaii “bolts” fitted. black crown, purple brim, “mishka” in the back in silver and a purple/silver bear graphic. good shit

somewhat cheesy but still pretty cool. this is the “super” from swagger. black and royal blue colorways with a superman-esque design. not bad

this is the “ink” snapback from swagger. i frickin love this. the crown and brim of this fitted are simple, yet the design is crazy. in a good way! i love the intricacy and detail of the design, down to the drip rolling onto the brim. just wish it was fitted. it would be a must.

this is pretty dope. this is the “bullsh!t” fitted from undrcrwn. red crown and brim, with the dope undrcrwn/bulls mash up logo and alternating eyelet colors. good shit.

im really torn about this fitted. this is “striped” from undrcrwn. i cant decipher if i really really like it or i dont. not yet at least. multi-directional stripes cover crown and brim with the awesome undrcrwn/bulls mash up logo on the front. i dig it… i think?

like every season, crooks & castles has a lot dropping this fall/holiday 09. starting off with these plaid ear flap sherpa lined fitteds available in red and blue buffalo plaid with the “ornate C” graphic in black and tan. pretty dope, like a lot of the lines called “streetwear”, crooks & castles seems to be maturing.

yes, tons and tons of folks have done the LV daimler. and as much as im not super stoked about these “medusa daimler” fitteds, i do really dig the subtlety in the red/black colorway. thats some good shit. only getting a higher score cause of the mentioned colorway.

now im not super sold on the front graphic… graphically but techically i dig it. giving me ideas for future fitteds, i’d like to design. i also like the “torque 77″ on the back and hows its filled. this is the “torque 77″ fitted from uptown jiggy. features a dark kelly green crown, black brim, cool front graphic and “torque 77″ on the back. i love how the red stripes are running thru the “torque 77 graphic.” its available at amazing store

this is probably old. its just shocking how much skate companies are paying attention to their fitted designs now. its scaring my bank account… here is the “traffic” fitted from element skateboards. the crazy buffalo plaid in different colors with a black element logo on the front. really fuckin digging this.

mighty crown did pretty dope job on this fitted. aside from the graphics already being fresh, the whole front panel is velcro and you can interchange patches when you like, even on the bill! its like having 9 hats in 1! hehe, this is some goods. japan is on some fun/nice shit with their fitted game.

this is the fake leather drop from new era japan. features a fake leather crown and upper brim in caramel and chocolate brown colorways with a sherpa lining and underbrim. ARGHE! i gotta find a connect in japan or just go already!
