Jon’s getting to THAT age where he wants to take it easy. And what better way to start off a senior citizen breakfast than heading to IHOP. Hahaha.

Haven’t had IHOP in a while! It was pretty damn good. This breakfast got me thru lunch and most of the day.

Later that night, I came home to Jamie♥ working her birthday cake magic. Birthday’s are always pretty exciting around here cause Jamie♥ comes up with some goooooooods.

Fabian’s, not Jamie♥’s, Hello Kitty juicer was put to use. What could be in the works?? Hmmmmmmmm.

Jon takes an unfair portrayal of me “not working” when I in fact WAS working and was just taking a second to tweet about Jamie♥’s skills. Judger!!!

Jamie♥ was letting the cake kinda settle, so we took Jon out to dinner at Angeline’s Louisiana Kitchen in Berkeley. Look at the ol’ grump!

The food was good as usual. I got the jambalaya, Jamie♥ got the pasta and Jon got the mixed grill. No po’boys this round but next time for sure.

Jon tried to test Jamie♥’s skills with a lemon cake concotion. Not only did she succeed but she killed it! The cake was frickin great. The pumpkin still stands king in my book but this was pretty damn good. Not too sweet and just enough tart. Great work as expected. Another Happy Birthday for Jon. Looking forward to celebrating more with you sir.
