Fully Laced had a grand re-opening of their store’s relocation to Stonestown Galleria. I was lucky enough to swing by and say what up to Jon and the rest of the crew with special guest Jesse Hernandez doing an in-store. Let’s go!

Like many of you who dig Benny Gold gear, I was wondering if Mr. Gold was ever going to open a brick and mortar store. To me, something about opening a physical shop grows a stronger connection to loyal locals. One of the reasons I moved to the Bay Area was because of the art and design scene. Huf was part of the design scene I dug because of their fitteds and Benny Gold was responsible for some of their best drops. So seeing him open up his own shop is awesome and inspirational as well.

Simone and co just opened up the first Tokidoki shop in LA. Melrose couldn’t be anymore of a fitting spot. This place here is a spot you MUST check out.

More of a “Sneak Peek” rather than a “Spot Check” because Code of Conduct isn’t even open nor is it done with construction. Let’s just say I’m giving you an early preview of the goods to come. “What is Code of Conduct?” you say? It’ll be a premier tattoo parlor, art gallery, place to cop gear, lounge spot and more. When it opens up, you will be stoked! Positive. The only tattoo parlor that will be in downtown Chicago.

FINALLY got a chance to check out Invisible Stripes‘ flagship store in the Nob Hill/Loin area. About damn time (Sorry Gem) because it’s a great little spot!

When Jamie♥ and I first moved to the bay, we were clueless on the food scene. We searched and searched and luckily found Brazil Cafe in Berkeley pretty early on and are happy we did. We’ve been going here pretty religiously since we first discovered it. By religiously, I mean we were here weekly for almost a year. Hahaha, I’m telling you it’s tops!

If you’re ready to step your gear game passed JUST tees and hoodies, then The Brooklyn Circus in Western Addition is a destination you definitely need to check out. I always enjoy stepping in here and seeing what’s new.

San Franciso has some great spots for gear. Duh, with all the creatives in this town how could you not? Anyway, one of the brands I’m digging a lot lately is Black Scale. Black Scale opened up it’s flagship store, in San Francisco’s fancy pants area Union Square, just this passed winter and the shop is looking/doing nice.

A spot worth dropping by whenever you’re in SF is Fatlace in Japantown. Fatlace covers a huge array of lifestyles from streetwear to skate gear to bike gear to racing gear… They pretty much got you nicely covered from body to vehicle… Does that sound weird? Hmm… No, it’s good. Lets go!
