Our little monkey is going to grow up to be a cute little ninja monkey.

Got to hang out in Vegas a couple weekends ago for my bday with Jamie♥, my parents and Kristina. Stayed at the Flamingo this time, instead of the normal Arriola. Hehe.

It’s been entirely toooooo long since Jamie♥ and I went back to New York, so despite this being a super quick getaway, it was pretty nice. It’s also been ridiculously long since I posted on here, hope you haven’t forgotten me just yet!

Jamie♥ and I went back home last weekend for a wedding, sweet 16 party, family & friend catch up dates and of course horribly-bad-for-you-but-oh-so-delicious eats. IE: Carson’s Ribs.  So frickin delicious. Once I gather some more pics together, I’ll try to put a post up. Working on too many blogs.  :(

Jamie♥ is running her first ever 5K/23.1 progressive run marathon for Team AICR (American Institute of Cancer Research) this July 2011 during the SF Marathon and we’re super excited. Here’s her reason for running…

“I am very excited to announce that in July 2011 I will be running the first race of my life. This run is dedicated to my uncle, Robert Hembrador, as well as my cousin, Myra Pincsak, who both passed away from cancer. Both are always in my thoughts and loved by so many. My uncle’s death came at a time where I had committed to quit smoking cigarettes, a habit that I had carried for years, which ultimately led to the decision of running a 5K and 23.1 mile progressive marathon to raise money for cancer.

My family has been through all forms of cancer, and while not all have survived, this run is for those who are with us just as it is for those who are not. I hope to contribute to the American Institute for Cancer Research so that my friends and family can live a long and heathy life by supporting preventive measures. As a part of TeamAICR, I am helping to raise awareness, fund new research, and personally reducing my own cancer risk. Please donate what you can in honor of my Uncle Robert and my Ate Myra, or in honor of someone you know who has battled cancer.

Through the generosity of my friends and family, I know I will succeed. Don’t forget to ask your employer if they have a matching gift program, another way to help me reach my goals.
